Testimonials Denver Westwood Blogs: See it live! Ten Best New Fast-Casual Eateries in Metro Denver in 2014 Babajoon's opened in April, serving flame-grilled kabobs in the traditional Persian style and house-made flatbreads called taftoon baked in a custom-made oven. The place is bright and modern and filled with the aroma of spices, baking bread and charbroiled meats. While Denver has its share of tasty Middle Eastern eateries, this Westminster gem stands out for the freshness, unique menu and cheery service. - Cafe Society - Denver, CO Ate lunch there today for the first time. LOVED the service, LOVED the food, LOVED the attention we received!!! The food was tasty and the portions were large. Split one kabob and side, with my daughter and we both ended up full. Will definitely return to try more of their amazing food. NOT your usual place to dine and a welcomed change for this area! The dining room was comfortable and the staff was outstanding, helpful and attentive. Expand your normal and try this wonderful restaurant! - R G. - Denver, CO I love persian food and this restaurant is the best! I love the fact that they make lavash fresh and that they have such a variety on the menu... The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The kubideh is delicious and I quite enjoyed the ghormeh sabzi. The ghormeh sabzi is almost as good as at home... I would highly recommend this restaurant if you like persian food and a friendly atmosphere. - S N. Denver, CO Reviews of Babajoon's Kabobs, Westminster, CO - TripAdvisor See it live! Persian food fast food - You get really good food for the price you pay. Try it, you will definitely like the food here. I had chicken kebab and salad. - SaminBayat Milwaukee, Wisconsin "Wonderful lunch" See it live! This was a pleasant surprise and a nice change from a typical food chain. Excellent food. Friendly service. I would definitely return. - Tom F Greeley, Colorado "Nice change of pace for the area" See it live! We just stopped in for lunch to see what was on the menu. After a quick review of the options, I ordered a Tenderloin kabob plate and my wife order a ground beef kabob plate. We each selected a different salad to go with our meals and ordered some bread on the side. There were two guys there that seem to be the owners, and a couple of other folks helping out behind the scenes. Everyone was very nice and enjoyable to talk to. The food was delivered as promised, and was quite tasty. My tenderloin was very tender, and seasoned nicely. My wife's kabob was quite good as well, with a taste of its own. The salads were both wonderful, and the bread was tasty. While this place is in a strip mall (between Qdoba and Tokyo Joe's), it isn't really fast food. It took about 10 minutes for them to make our meals (made fresh to order, including the bread), although it wasn't an issue as the architecture is enjoyable to look at. It was maybe a bit more expensive than I expected, the quality and service made up for it. What is more American than to have a better product and charge a bit more for it? We will absolutely be back. It is so nice to be able to go to a place that isn't a chain, and get good service from people that really want to be in business. As an aside, they have a decent-sized meeting room that can be closed off. I did not inquire about it, but it does seem like a nice place to go for a larger business luncheon. - Brian M "Delicious-glad we went there" See it live Reviewed July 14, 2014 I don't know how to give it any higher praise than this: my 11 year old normally only eats pizza, burgers, and chicken nuggets. He agreed to go here for dinner and was thrilled. He said his meal was incredible. He said, "We've just got to review this place and give it a great review." We had chicken kabobs with saffron rice, salad, and naan with sauce. We were allowed to get a 3rd kabob on the normal dinner plate which along with a side dish of naan was the perfect amount of food for us whereas 2 full dinner plates would have been too much. I HIGHLY recommend this place. - wannago2 Big Island, Hawaii This place was very pleasantly surprising! There was a certain reluctance to try it, being that it looks a little bit like a chain restaurant (a very well decorated one) and I had never seen very many people eating there, but I'm really glad that we decided to go for it instead of Tokyo Joes. Walking in, there is a counter that you order from instead of traditional seated restaurant, and the decor is awesome with some really interesting art. The man behind the counter asked us if it was our first time and then happily explained the menu to us. Surprisingly the fish is organic Norwegian salmon, antibiotic free beef, and mostly natural ingredients, and the prices were very fair! We ordered a kabob with beef and one with salmon and took a seat. While we were waiting, the man brought us a complimentary appetizer that was amazing! The wait was only about ten minutes and we got our main course, and it tasted stellar, I would place it as the best beef I've probably ever had, and the salmon was really good as well! They stopped by to make sure everything was tasting great and thanked us on our way out. I wish I had tried this place sooner, it was an amazing dining experience. Thank you! Very good, authentic Persian cuisine. I got spoiled on good restaurants while living in DC- and a good Mediterranean restaurant can be relatively easy to find, a good Persian one is stumbled upon rarely. I wholeheartedly recommend Babjoon's! - Mark Burkhardt My husband and I found this place on accident when driving by. Since we already had dinner, we settled for some tea and Persian sweets on our first visit (they were wonderful). Then we returned a couple of days later for dinner and loved the delicious and authentic kebab's we had. Being Persian, I have been to many Persian restaurants, but this is by far the best Persian food I have had since coming to the U.S.(I'm serious!). In addition, the staff was wonderful on both of our visits. Go try it! - Mark Burkhardt My wife and I were pleasantly surprised. We found Babajoon's by accident tonight. The food was delicious and the service was great too. The gentleman who helped us was very friendly. Not only did the food taste great but it is also a refreshing change of pace to the normal fare. We also appreciated hearing about the great care that goes into the selection of the menu ingredients. We plan to visit the restaurant and plan on visiting again whenever we are in this part of town. Couldn't recommend more highly....CHECK IT OUT. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for something that both tastes good and is health consciously prepared. - Joe Sarr
